Workshop at Indo German tool room on “Introduction to CNC Programming in Machining and Measuring Practices”

As a part of Industry Institution Partnership Initiative by MIT, two-day workshop was conducted at Indo-German Tool Room (IGTR) for final year students of diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology on 5th and 6th August 2011.

Advanced Manufacturing Processes is part of the curriculum, 46 students attended this short term course for “Introduction to CNC Programming in Machining and Measuring Practices”. Practical assignments on CNC Milling, EDM, WEDM and CMM were the highlights of workshop conducted by IGTR’s Prof. Rakhewar and Mr. Jagdale under guidance of Mr. Gopal S. Awsekar, Manager (CAD/CAM), IGTR. All the delegates received certificate of satisfactory completion of course. Workshop was organized by Student Coordinator Shashank Mahajan and Mentored by Prof. G.S.Autee.
