“EMPOWERING WOMEN” Ladies Redressal Cell .
About Ladies Redressal Cell
The Ladies redressal consists of lady faculty members. The cell attends to various complaints from the Ladies staff and students on the campus, especially to issues regarding Ladies harassment. Appropriate and prompt actions are assured to complainants approaching the cell.
Objective
M.I.T Ladies redressal cell functions with a view to look after the general well being of the Ladies folk on the campus. It organizes different Ladies empowerment programmes. All Ladies staff and students are members of the cell. Any type of sexual harassment physical, verbal or mental shall come under the purview of the cell, and it is empowered to initiate legal actions against such offences.
Mission
To enlighten the Ladies staff and students about their legal rights and to strive towards the empowerment of the Ladies through the promotion of gender amity and programs concerning Ladies welfare.

The Ladies redressal cell, its role & importance in the campus, objectives, functions, rights of Ladies, constitutional remedies etc to create awareness among the Ladies students and staff in the campus.

Conduct regular meetings with the student representatives at least once in a month.
