Deep Dive Faculty Enablement program " Introduction to Mainframe System"
Infosys - IT giant of India – conducted the Deep Dive Program for Engineering Faculty enablement in “IBM Mainframe Systems” from 27th June to 30th June 2011 in MIT, Aurangabad. Under it Campus Connect Program – launched in 2004 – Infosys drives the unique academia-industry initiative to “architect the education experience”.
MIT and Infosys signed Campus Connect Program in 2008. 40 Faculty members from all B A M University affiliated engineering colleges in Marathwada region participated in this Deep Dive Program. The university introduced the industry elective “ Mainframe Systems”, which was proposed by Infosys, for the final year of Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology streams in academic year 2010-11. In first phase , Infosys trained 20 Faculty members in Mainframe Systems at Infosys Development Center, Pune.
