Mr. Munish Sharma, Director General, MIT felicitated Vishnukant Jamale.

An Overview of his Project:

Transpiration is biological process in which water evaporates from plants. Especially through tiny openings called stomata on the surface of leaves during transpiration about 98% of water is lost by plants in atmosphere and only 2% of water used for growth and development. Project is based to reduce the rate of transpiration. So that excessive loss of water during transpiration is lowered. BIOANTI-TRANSPIRANT is the prepared solution which forms a thin waxy layer on plant body, after spraying this layer will blocks the stomata up to certain limit and water vapour will be blocked in plant body only, so that content of water will be more in plant body and it will not absorb water from soil and hence plant will survive for longer time in little amount of water supply. Anti-transparent like Absicic acid phenyl mercuric acetate are also used to lower rate of transpiration but it causes adverse effect on plant body. And they are too costly. But BIOANTI-TRANSPIRANT overcomes all these problems and survives plants for longer time in little amount of water supply.
