The knowledge Centre (KC) is the place to bring the industry, students and faculty members together to work with; Infrastructure: The three hundreds nodes, enabled with high speed internet connectivity through Ethernet provides the window to information-ocean. IBM AS/400 server is the back bone. Library server “Vidya Seva” and student’s information system server “Techno S” provides the information support.
The “KC” throughput is the total sum of the four divisions:

E - Learning Division

The seventy nodes are equipped with the digital libraries, international journals, on-line magazines from ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineering), ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineering), IEEE/IEE Electronic Library (IEL), Springer Link, Digital Engineering Library (DEL), Engineering Data Unit (ESDU). The EDUSAT (Education Satellite) are made available at this division.

Training Division

This division undertakes the need based training programmes like IBM AS/400 technology, Red Hat Linux Training, IBM Rational Training, MATLAB etc.

Project Division

The project works from the Government organizations, Industries, Institution are undertaken. The teams of faculty and students apply the skill for the solutions. This division, so for, has supported following organization for solutions:

Product Division

To ensure students and faculty members with the marketable, saleable product development skill set, this division facilitates the excellent industry interface. The eminent persons from the engineering & IT world interact with the students & teachers for supporting the product development cycle.

This product division works, extensively on web technologies. It is a partner of NET 4 India Pvt. Ltd., the noted web solution company of India. It has under taken the national level project “EDUNET” to connect every school & college. The project is supported by Padamashri Dr. Vijay Bhatkar’s ETH Research Lab, Pune for the content management. The first node of EDUNET is “yash.org.in.
