2-Week ISTE Workshop on
Introduction to Research Methodology

To enhance the teaching effectiveness in core engineering subjects, IIT Bombay has started new initiative "TEACH 10000 TEACHER" under National Mission on Education through ICT supported by MHRD. As a part of this initiative IIT Bombay is organizing a two-week ISTE sponsored workshop on "Introduction to Research Methodology" for Teacher (Science & Engineering stream) across the country via distance-education mode.
MARATHWADA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, AURANGABD is selected as a one of the Remote Centre for this workshop.
The workshop is decided to be held during 25th June 2012 to 04th July 2012. Live Lectures will be given by the IIT Faculty from IIT Bombay on Research Methodology and Practical Sessions will be conducted in the Lab of Remote Center. The interested Teachers can attend this workshop at our Remote Centre. Centers are funded to provide tea/Lunch on each day. No course fee participants. Travel expenses up to Rs.1000/- will be reimbursed against proof of actual expenditure (For out of station candidates only).
This course will provide an introduction to research for scientists and engineers. The goal of the course is to take a researcher through the various aspects and steps of research project. Topics covered in the course are classified into the following main categories:
