About the Institution

G.S.Mandals Maharashtra Institute of Technology was established by Late Shri Anandraoji Deshmukh for the noble cause of educating the students from the rural areas. This institute is approved by A.I.C.T.E, New Delhi and affiliated by Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.

This institute is having a sprawling campus and is located on NH-211. The institute offers eight degree courses in Technology and PG courses in Business Administration. The institute has rich infrastructure, well developed laboratories, experienced and dedicated faculty.

About Department

Plastics and Polymer Engineering Department (PPE) is one of the prestigious departments in the institution and currently running one UG course. The department is having dedicated staff and well developed laboratories with modern sophisticated instruments.

Symposium Objective

To create awareness about the use and processing of Bioplastics and Biopolymers amongst the young generation.

POLYXPLORE aims at forming a close association of the technologist engaged in the field of Bioplastics and Biopolymers. It will help out in bringing all people associated with this field right from student level to working professionals by stimulating their thoughts through a well co-ordinated discussion at national symposium.

  • USB, Pen Drive, Memory Stick etc. not allowed due to virus problems

A Copy of paper on any of the listed and related topics to be mailed to polyxplore@gmail.com, Paper should be sent in IEEE format which will be available on the Institute website www.mit.asia/pxplore11.aspx Students participating in the "Best out of Waste" shall give prior information to the organizing committee regarding the materials required

A souvenir in the form of book containing the advertisements and full text of keynote address will be published. Proceedings in the form of a compact disc containing full presented papers during the conference will be published and distributed to all registered delegates.

Accommodation can be arranged in the college campus for limited candidates. Hotel facility can also be arranged as per requirement.
