Linux operating system has been prominently used in Internet World to run Web Servers, Mail Servers, and FTP Servers. New York Stock Exchange ( NYSC ), Oracle, Google, IBM are prime giants of Linux. India started in deploying Linux as official operating system in its Government departments, High-court IT infrastructure. LIC uses Linux for its business. The number of enterprises who are migrating from proprietry to Open Source Linux is growing drastically.
