About Advanced Studies Courses
The prescribed academic curriculum satisfies the qualification requirements and awards degree/diploma as mandated by the respective academic regulating authorities. However, in a fast-changing world, the academic curriculum is not revised as frequently and extensively as is required by the industrial and societal needs.
When a mechanical engineer is expected to program a CNC machine, the lines between disciplines are blurring. So students need to update their skillsets for which MIT offers advanced courses in various disciplines.
