B.Voc Program

Introduction to Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) Programs

B. Voc is a three-year undergraduate course offered in multiple fields. B.Voc courses are designed to align higher education with the needs of the Indian economy. The courses are designed to provide adequate theoretical background and emphasize acquiring the required skill and practical experience to apply knowledge productively.

B. Voc allows flexibility to the students through the pre-defined entry and multiple exit points. As a student, you could join the program, complete one year of the program, and get one certificate level, which can get you a job. If you leave the program in the 1st year or 2nd year, you can re-join the program to complete the degree in the future.

The certification levels will lead to a Diploma/Advanced Diploma/B.Voc degree in one or more vocational areas and will be offered under the aegis of the university. (e.g., a student could complete a year program, get certified, and get a job. After a couple of years, re-join the program and complete the degree when required.
